Children's Environmental Health Summit

The Kentucky Environmental Public Health Tracking program initiated the first Children's Environmental Health Summit in October of 2016 and it has been an annual event ever since. The purpose of the summit is to collectively increase the visibility of children's environmental health issues while empowering individuals and organizations to act on the behalf of children nationwide. Each year features presentations on a number of topics like adverse childhood experiences (ACEs), lead poisoning, drinking water, and asthma. A poster contest is also held each year with children across the state submitting environmental health themed posters.
